The Farm Games is a one-of-a-kind, high-energy fitness competition hosted by Carolina Fitness Farm, where the grit of real farm work meets elite athletic performance. Bringing together 60–80 top regional athletes from disciplines like CrossFit, Strongman, endurance, bodybuilding, and hybrid fitness, the event delivers a diverse, highly engaging competition and audience. Athletes battle through “The Round Up,” a series of demanding, farm-inspired challenges that test raw strength, endurance, agility, and mental toughness, before the top competitors advance to “The Barn Burner,” a farm inspired sprint obstacle course that crowns the overall champions.
Qualifying results and selection transparency:
We will have approximately 70-80 athletes competing. The goal is a 50/50 male - female split. In 2025, we had a deeper talent pool for women so we selected 10% more females than males. We reserve the right to do the same in all our events based on our professional opinion to create the most exciting competition possible.
Selections will happen in 3 ways:
- Qualifier results: top 20 male and 20 female qualifiers will automatically be invited to compete. Before making selections further down the qualifier scorecard, we consider other factors.
- *Wild Card Selections*: We pride ourselves in bringing together a wide variety of fitness disciplines into one competition. This has brought so much value to our competition and the athletes. Due to the fact that qualifiers only test a fraction of performance potential and may favor one style of fitness over another, we reserve the right to select some athletes who did not make the top 20 in order to maintain a diverse mix of fitness styles. These athletes must also demonstrate a strong performance potential. In 2025, one of these “Wild card” athletes placed 5th overall. So, if you’re worried that the workouts don’t reflect your true potential, do it anyway. Work your ass off and show us what you’ve got. Even if you don’t make the top 20, we’ll see you!
-Sponsors: As part of our sponsorship agreements, some sponsors are given the option to enter a few of their own athletes or staff.
We believe that this method of selection is the most fair and effective way to build a competitive and well-rounded roster of athletes.
If you do not have access to the equipment needed for qualifiers, please contact us and we can connect you with a partner gym who has what you need. You will need a barbell, 20-24 inch plyo box, and a sandbag/ball weighing at least 50lbs. (50lb feedbags are acceptable for our farmers out there🤠).
